This invention is an improved method for time-lapse geologic seismic data processing and imaging. The technique is based on comparing the amplitude and phase differences of the image wave fields from each survey and comparing them to a reference level above the zone of interest.
Dr. James Tunnell, an assistant professor of biomedical engineering at UT, and a group of graduate students have been working on it for three years.
