About the program

The ceremony named Dr. John Goodenough and Dr. Adam Heller as the 2011 Inventors of the Year and recognized UT Austin's outstanding inventors, who by their innovative work have made substantial contributions to society. Members of the university and the Austin technology ecosystem gathered to honor the inventors' commitment and achievements.

Members of the UT faculty are invited to attend a series of lectures, seminars, and workshops exploring the discovery and commercialization process. The programs will address challenges facing technology, business, new ventures, and funding in today's marketplace.
