Driving Directions (Austin)

The Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC) is located in the West Pickle Research (WPR) Building (formerly known as the MCC building), on the southwest corner of Braker Lane and Hwy 1 (Mopac).

From the Airport

Exit the airport and go west on TX 71. Stay on TX 71 for approximately 1.7 miles until you see the signs for US 183 North. Turn onto US 183 North and stay on that highway for approximately 15 miles.

Exit at the ramp for Loop 1 North/Mopac Blvd. On the ramp, get into the right-hand lane and follow that towards Loop 1 North/Mopac. While still on the ramp, take the first exit for Capital of Texas Hwy/Braker.

Follow the access road past the first light (Capital of Texas Hwy), and at the second light take a left onto Braker Lane. The building will be straight ahead towards the left. After getting on Braker, take a left at the first light onto the southbound Mopac frontage road. The first right from the frontage road will turn onto the UT West Pickle Research Building grounds. Once on the property, follow the signs to visitor parking and enter the building through the main (south) entrance.

From Downtown

Take Loop 1/Mopac Blvd. North. Exit Capital of Texas Hwy/Braker (first exit past US 183).

Follow the access road past the first light (Capital of Texas Hwy), and then at the second light take a left onto Braker Lane. The building will be straight ahead towards the left. After getting on Braker, take a left at the first light onto the southbound Mopac frontage road. The first right from the frontage road will turn onto the UT West Pickle Research Building grounds. Once on the property, follow the signs to visitor parking and enter the building through the main (south) entrance.
